Q. Is purchasing from this website safe?
A. Absolutely safe. When you order from us no personal details are collected or saved on this website. It is also encrypted and can not be read by any third parties.
Q. Are my Credit/Debit card detail safe?
A. Once again, absolutely safe. When you make your payment it will be processed throught the PayPal Payment Gateway and not the website. PayPal is a secure gateway for making payments and is protected by SSL platform. When you go to checkout you will be taken to PayPals Gateway, which is fully encrypted, to make your secure payment and no details are kept or stored by us. Remember you do not need to have a PayPal account to pay by Credit/Debit Card.
Q. How quickly does my personalised items arrive?
A. Normal delivery times for anything ordered is 3-4 days but please allow 5-10 days especially during busy seasonal times of the year. Despatch is normally within 1-2 days. Unfortunately, even though we can despatch your item quickly, we can't do anything about any hold ups within the postal service. Most deliveries will be made by either Royal Mail or A nominated courier depending on your item requirements. We will always keep you informed, (normally by e-mail), of the progress of your delivery and any known problems with delivery times.
Q. What happens to my personal details?
A. Simple answer? Nothing. We obviously need to collect certain information such as name and address ,contact number and e-mail addresses so we know where to deliver your wonderful purchases and keep you up to date on your order and delivery. We also need a contact number in case of any enquiries regarding your order and to help sort any problems should they arise. Other than that we will never sell or share your information with any third parties. We will definitely not use your details to flood you with unwanted marketing. We may from time to time send you information on any special offers, product news, money off vouchers but you can unsubscribe from these offers at anytime.
As explained in the question above, Gem Unique never collect or keep any financial details at any time. Your payment is paid through the PayPal Secure Gateway.
Q. Are there other ways of ordering and paying for my items?
A. Yes. There are many ways in which you can order from Gem Unique. Obviously ordering tthrough the website and checking out through the cart is the easiest and quickest way. This is available 24 hours 7 days a week. Other ways to order and pay are by phone. Call 07518 30 82 92 You can call us during the live operating times and place your order. You can pay by credit or debit card over the phone. Please be aware our live operating times are Monday to Friday 9.30am-5.00pm. If busy you may get the answer machine so, please simply leave your name and contact number and someone will call you back as soon as possible. Outside these times, we operate a "call back service" so please leave your name, contact details and a short message and someone will call you back as soon as possible. This also includes weekends. Depending on availability someone may call you on Saturday or Sunday to take your order.
